Och ursäkten består i att Amy medger att hon tagit sig vatten över huvudet vid bildandet av alla olika avdelningar och uppbyggande av strukturen kring The Beckoning of Lovely. Hon föreslår nu en revidering av upplägget och säger:
"I am open to your thoughts about setting up a new paradigm as we move into our 2nd year. Maybe it’s as simple as this: No official titlesor labels. No concrete agenda. Just one big sandbox where people can come and go, time and interest permitting. I kinda think we can build a beautiful castle this way. Do you?"
Tja, vi får väl se... Själv älskar jag att se att The Beckoning of Lovely fortfarande lever...!
Just nu sägs det att något spännande kommer att hända i Chicago den 9 september, det vill säga 090909. Om detta säger Amy: "I hope to complete the short video (announcing this new idea) within a month or so... It will then be sent to you and posted online."
Och filmen då? Jo, målet är nu att den ska ha premiär den 10 oktober nästa år, det vill säga 101010. Amys egna ord visar att det finns verklighetsförankring...: "I am thrilled (but cautiously superstitious) to say I had a couple fantastic meetings in Los Angeles with film agents about our project. I will leave it at this: there was genuine enthusiasm and thumbs up-ness for what we are doing and what The Beckoning of Lovely can 'grow up to be.'"

Jag hoppas att The Beckoning of Lovely lever och har hälsan. Men det är svårt att veta vad som pågår. Det senaste jag hörde var angående födelsedagspresent till Amy... Som är ute på turné för att sälja sina böcker...
Jag hoppas att projektet inte fastnar i vare sig personkult eller kommersiella intressen. Jag hoppas att det fortfarande lever!

- Presently in the works: The Beckoning of Lovely website! Should be up and running in a couple weeks. We'll let you know when it launches, but the url is just what you think it'd be: thebeckoningoflovely.com.
- The judges are now well into the process of judging the lovely submissions, about 450 submissions in all, and such an abundance of stellar material. The judges have been at it for the past couple weeks, with about two more weeks left until final decisions are gathered and tallied.
- On the movie creating/crafting front, we are starting to put our grand vision down on paper in the form of a screenplay and treatment. We are also seeking a film producer and other film world professionals to lock arms with.
Vill bara säga att jag lovar att hålla er uppdaterade om hur The Beckoning of Lovely fortskrider. Anledningen till att det varit magert med inlägg på sistone är att även om jag anar hur universum sjuder av "lovely activity" i alla vädersträck, har jag inte så mycket konkreta nyheter att komma med...
Annat än att projektets officiella glass från och med nu är Ben and Jerry’s "Yes Pecan". (Berätta gärna om ni hittar den nånstans. :-)
Och att projektets officiella maskot från och med nu är den 11 månader gamla Abraham Elston från Indiana, USA.
Den 29 april ska filmen vara klar... Må universum vara samarbetsvilligt... :-)
